Projects & Clients Langage CCGTLangage is the first new power station to be built in the UK for 5 years, it is currently being constructed on the Langage Energy Park near Plymouth in Devon at an expected cost of around £400m. The 885MW CCGT plant is expected to start generating in late 2008. Palo Verde Nuclear Generating StationPalo Verde Nuclear Generating Station is the largest nuclear electric generating site in the United States. Three Combustion Engineering Pressurized Water Reactor units each have an output of ~ 1270 MWe. Arizona Public Service Company is the operator and co-owns the units with utilities in New Mexico, Texas, and California. Staythorpe CCGTStaythorpe CCGT Power Station is a proposed £800m project located in Nottinghamshire which will include a 1500MW plant. The state-of-the-art station is expected to start generating in 2009. Springerville Generating StationThe power plant currently consists of two coal-fired steam turbine units, each with a nominal rating of 380 megawatts (MW). A recent decision provides conditional approval for two additional coal-burning steam turbine generating units (Units 3 and 4), each with a nominal rating of up to 400 MW.
